Urban Church Leadership Center: Brand Messaging Refresh for Community Transformation
At the Urban Church Leadership Center (UCLC), a vision of thriving communities and prosperous individuals is at the heart of their mission. Rooted in faith UCLC serves as a dynamic hub, bringing together faith leaders to collaborate, innovate, and drive transformative change across Grand Rapids. With a deep commitment to the holistic mission of the church, they partner with local community organizations and other sectors to address complex issues, believing that collective action can lead to a thriving and more prosperous future for all.
In the midst of their evolving vision and a shift toward the Thrive & Prosper movement, UCLC approached LTrice Consulting for guidance on a brand messaging refresh and marketing strategy development. As the organization began to deepen its focus on community flourishing, they realized the need for a messaging update that would better communicate their enhanced mission and the ways in which they can help individuals and communities thrive.
To help them navigate this transformation, we facilitated a comprehensive, full-day Messaging Workshop. Our goal was to give UCLC the tools they needed to connect authentically with their audience and articulate their evolving brand message. Throughout the workshop, we led their team through several key exercises that focused on identifying their target audiences, refining communication channels, and developing communication pillars. We also mapped customer journeys and explored content pillars to ensure their messaging would resonate with the community at every touchpoint. One of the key takeaways from the session was understanding how community engagement in marketing plays a pivotal role in connecting with their audience in meaningful, impactful ways.
From the workshop, LTrice Consulting delivered a detailed Messaging Guide and a comprehensive Marketing Strategy to shape UCLC's communication going forward. We also provided a refreshed approach to their faith-based organization messaging, ensuring it accurately communicated the organization’s value and impact in a way that felt authentic to both their team and their audience. Along with these resources, we updated several marketing materials to reflect the new messaging and visual identity.
We understand that brand and messaging transitions can be challenging, and we were committed to guiding the UCLC team through this journey. As a result, we worked closely with their team to ensure the brand refresh feels authentic and aligned with their core values.
