POSITION SUMMARY
As a Communications & Content Specialist (Contract) at LTrice Consulting, you will play a critical role in crafting and executing impactful content across multiple platforms to drive our clients' success. The work blends storytelling, media relations, and social media strategy to create compelling short- and long-form content that connects with key audiences.
Your responsibilities will include developing content calendars, writing for diverse formats, and ensuring brand-aligned messaging. You will create content for websites, email campaigns, press releases, social media, blogs, and marketing communication (marcom) plans. Additionally, you will contribute to public relations efforts by drafting press releases and supporting media outreach.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong grasp of writing best practices, digital content strategies, and PR fundamentals. You excel at developing engaging, polished content while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and strategic communication across all platforms.
Write, edit, and proofread content for diverse formats, including:
Website content
Email marketing campaigns
Social media posts
Press releases
Blogs
Case studies
Newsletters
Workshop reports
Marketing communication plans (marcom plans)
Craft compelling storytelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
Assist in PR efforts, including writing press releases, researching/ securing speaking engagements and supporting media outreach initiatives.
Conduct SEO research to identify relevant keywords and optimization opportunities. If you are not experience in SEO research and content optimization, you must be willing to learn.
Implement SEO strategies into written content to enhance search rankings and audience engagement.
Collaborate with internal team members to collect and organize information for communications materials.
Stay updated on industry trends, digital marketing tools, and best practices in content strategy, social media, PR, and SEO
Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with client’s voice, style, and marketing objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Writing, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience in content creation, storytelling, and digital marketing strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think creatively.
Demonstrated ability to write content across multiple formats, including website content, social media, email marketing, blogs, reports, and PR materials.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of marketing concepts, communication strategy, and storytelling principles.
Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of professional experience

BENEFITS
Hourly contract, part-time position at $40/hour for 15 - 20 hours per week, with opportunity to transition to full-time as business needs increase.
Monday through Friday, remote with optional hybrid work setting (in-person LTC office)
